Today I have decided to share my research on my 3x great uncle, Henry Handson Beacock. He was the one of the older brothers of my 2x great Grandfather’s, Frederick Beacock. He was part of the first generation of the Beacock family to be born in Hull, after his father moved over from Lincolnshire in the 1860s. Read his story here!
Today I have decided to share my research on my great great grandmother Mary Ann Capon (nee Marrow). From what I know of her, she must have been a very strong minded and willed woman. This was definitely proven by how long she lived on the earth. I enjoy the stories that I have collected about her, love looking at photographs and learning more about her. I really wish I could have known her, as I have so many questions that may be forever unanswered!
My great uncle was called Harold Hunter, but was known by many other names, to many people. I had a lot of time for my uncle Harold, as he was a very funny, caring and genuine man. He was always able to make everyone and anyone laugh, and could easily lighten anybody’s mood if they were feeling down. I miss going to visit him, listening to his stories and laughing at his jokes. He will always be remembered and missed by both family and friends. Read his full story here!
Today I have decided to research my great grandfather, Frederick Walter Beacock. Mystery surrounds him and there are many stories about him for just a short life of 38 years.
